Breast Augmentation - Case 68

This 47 year old woman from Wisconsin breast-fed one child, and came to Minneapolis Plastic Surgery for breast enlargement with cohesive silicone gel (“gummy bear”) implants. She had submuscular implants placed in a one-hour outpatient operation in our accredited (AAAASF) on-site surgical facility under TIVA anesthesia. This intravenous anesthetic regimen is not exclusive to MPS, but is substantially better than the “standard” inhalation anesthetic used almost exclusively in the hospital, surgicenters, and many doctors’ facilities (for cost reasons, not because inhalation is safer or “better.”) After photos show her appearance at 7 months post-op.
