Exilis Non-Surgical Fat Removal and Skin Tightening
A Nonsurgical Option
We spend most of our lives hearing about the power of diet and exercise, how they have the ability to reshape your life in the most profound ways and about how they’re they key to longevity. Of course, that’s completely right. But there are limits to the power that these traditional methods have in terms of shaping your body. Diet and exercise can make you feel great, but sometimes it’s simply an inefficient way to target small and stubborn pockets of fat—and unless you’re building major muscle, it doesn’t do much good for loose skin. Exilis®, one of the most exciting new technologies offered by Carillon Clinic, LTD., offers a nonsurgical way to tighten skin, reduce fat, and help you achieve the slimmer, more toned look you’re after.
Exilis® is FDA-cleared for non-invasive skin tightening and fat reduction via RF (Radio Frequency) aesthetic treatments at 7-10 day intervals, with no down-time or healing, for a series of 1-7 sessions. The number of treatment sessions recommended will depend on the severity of the areas of concern and the desired result. Each session takes 15-30 minutes, and is both safe and comfortable. Treatment areas become warm, and while some patients may find this heat mildly uncomfortable, many patients actually doze off during treatment.
One Option Among Many
Numerous other non-invasive technologies exist for patients who are either unsuitable candidates for surgery, have less need, or simply desire no healing or down-time; most of these provide some degree of (minimal) improvement. While the results for our Minneapolis Exilis® patients cannot rival those achieved with plastic surgery, we feel this technology was the most promising and flexible for those patients not yet ready for surgery, or for those who wish to maintain or prolong their improvements after cosmetic surgery.
Indeed, many patients are willing to exchange a drop in overall power and effectiveness for the easy recovery and immediate results of a nonsurgical procedure. This makes Exilis® a viable alternative to more invasive services, which means you’ll be looking great and back to your regular routine before you know it.
