Breast Implant Revision - Case 8
Case Description
This 27 year-old woman had breast augmentation (elsewhere) with 270cc saline implants placed via axillary (armpit) incisions. She came to Minneapolis Plastic Surgery to correct implant rippling, unnatural “feel” of her breasts, and too-wide cleavage; she also requested larger silicone gel implants. Via new inframammary crease incisions (for better release of inferomedial pectoralis fibers and pocket enlargement over the sternum), she underwent surgical enlargement of her submuscular pocket to improve implant position and cleavage, with placement of 500cc cohesive silicone gel implants.
