Breast Implant Revision - Case 9
Case Description
This 32 year old woman had undergone breast augmentation elsewhere at age 23 prior to having two children. After breastfeeding, she developed loose sagging breast skin on both sides, as well as capsular contracture and high “Snoopy-look” deformity of her left breast. She came to Minneapolis Plastic Surgery for a full breast lift and exchange of her saline to new slightly smaller cohesive silicone implants. At the same operation, she also had a tummy tuck and liposuction of her inner thighs (mommy makeover). She had all of these procedures in one outpatient operation in our on-site, nationally-accredited (AAAASF) office surgical facility under TIVA general anesthesia. She left our recovery room in less than an hour and a half, and was alert, comfortable without nausea, dressed, and having sipped a soda and visiting the restroom. Her scars are still dark and visible at 10 weeks post-op, but will continue to fade over time (and with ultraviolet avoidance).
