Breast Augmentation - Case 35

This 43 year-old patient came to Minneapolis Plastic Surgery for breast augmentation with implants. She had surgery between the years of 1991 and 2006, when the FDA restricted use of silicone gel implants for first-time elective cosmetic breast enlargement. Thus, saline implants were placed beneath her pectoralis muscles in our office surgical facility under a light (TIVA) general anesthetic. This patient returned to (non-strenuous) work in 3 days.
