Breast Augmentation - Case 32

This 30 year-old Asian-American mother of four did not breast feed her children, but wished for restored breast volume and a perkier look if possible. She did not have excessive breast droop, and did not require a breast lift. She also was interested in abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) at the same operation–this combination of surgical procedures is commonly called a “mommy makeover.” Outpatient breast augmentation and full abdominoplasty with muscle repair was performed at Minneapolis Plastic Surgery’s nationally-accredited (AAAASF) office surgical facility in a 2 hour and 45 minute operation. 475g (just over 1 pound) of loose skin and fat were removed with her tummy tuck. She did extremely well post-op from both breast and abdominal standpoints.
