Breast Implant Revision - Case 6
Case Description
This 44 year old woman came to Minneapolis Plastic Surgery several months after noting left saline breast implant deflation, and ten years after first having them placed in California. She also had some mild (Baker 1-2 out of 4) capsular contracture on her right side. She underwent removal of her saline implants, capsulotomies and subtotal capsulectomies, and placement of new cohesive silicone gel implants in an outpatient operation under light TIVA anesthesia in our office surgical facility (nationally accredited by AAAASF). Her breasts remain soft; after photos show her appearance 6 months post-op (nipple/areola asymmetry present pre-operatively).
