Butt Lift & Enlargement (BBL) - Case 1

This 42 year-old gentleman was referred to Minneapolis Plastic Surgery by his sister (our patient) for evaluation of his abdomen, hips, and buttocks. He was hoping liposuction was the answer for his “old man butt” and loose skin. However, his problem was not one of excess localized fatty tissue, but rather loose sagging skin all the way around his abdomen, hips, and buttocks. He underwent circumferential beltlift plus abdominoplasty (complete lower body lift) plus buttock lift in our office surgical facility. He had 10.0 lbs. of skin removed in a 5 and 1/2 hour operation (no buttock implants or fat grafts were used), and left for his home alert and comfortable after an hour and a half in our recovery room . He returned for recheck the next day, and went with his wife on a 9-day trip 3 weeks after surgery.
