Case Description

This 45 year old man is a gym owner and body builder who felt his calf muscles were underdeveloped despite maximum training. He underwent calf augmentation with 4 implants (2 different implants per side to more anatomically simulate larger medial and more slender lateral gastrocnemius muscles). These are moderately firm solid silicone elastomer implants designed to feel like muscle. He is so pleased he is contemplating larger custom silicone calf implants.
