Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty) - Case 2

This 34 year-old nurse has had dark circles and puffy lower eyelids for many years, making her look tired when she in fact has excellent energy. She underwent lower lid blepharoplasty (cosmetic lower eyelid surgery) with lid tightening and fat pad sculpting as a local anesthesia plus IV sedation outpatient operation at Minneapolis Plastic Surgery in our AAAASF-accredited office surgical facility. For the lower eyelids only fast-dissolving sutures are used, so no stitch removal is necessary; the incision line is so close to the eyelashes that the final scar is nearly invisible.
