Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty) - Case 5

This 48 year-old woman presented to Minneapolis Plastic Surgery with excess upper and lower eyelid skin, lower lid bags (fat pads), and poor lower eyelid tone. She has good brow position, so upper lid excess was not on the basis of her brows being too low. She underwent upper and lower lid blepharoplasty (cosmetic eyelid surgery) with lower lid K-Z wedge procedures to improve lid tone and maintain proper lid position. This surgery was done under local anesthesia plus IV sedation as an outpatient procedure in our accredited office surgical facility.
