Transgender (F-M) Mastectomy ("Top Surgery") - Case 13

This 24 year old F-M transgender patient came to Minneapolis Plastic Surgery for skin-reducing total mastectomies, star-pattern nipple reduction, areola reduction and reconstruction of the nipple areola complexes (NAC) as full-thickness skin grafts for chest masculinization. He underwent a 4-hour general (TIVA) anesthetic outpatient operation and did extremely well without post-operative nausea or vomiting. Post-op photos are at 5 months; scars will continue to fade and mature for up to a year.
