Transgender (M-F) Breast Augmentation - Case 6

This 26 year old M-F transgender patient had been on hormone therapy for years and only gained 1/2 to 1 cup size of breast growth. She came to Minneapolis Plastic Surgery for breast augmentation because of our experience with not only breast augmentation, but also transgender breast surgery, both M-F augmentation and F-M top surgery. This woman specifically did not want small, round, unnatural breasts with wide cleavage, and is 6′ 1″ tall (155 lbs). She underwent 1-stage submuscular augmentation with 560cc high profile implants under TIVA anesthesia in our on-site surgical facility. Despite a history of bleeding after chin surgery elsewhere, she reported minimal pain after her breast augmentation (2 out of 10), and had soft, natural results without capsular contracture as shown in her 1 year post-op photos.
