Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty) - Case 4

This 50 year-old woman came to Minneapolis Plastic Surgery for facial rejuvenation surgery. She requested improvement in her eyelids and face, especially in the chin, neck, and jowl area. She underwent SMAS facelift, upper and lower eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), chin enlargement with an extended anatomic mandibular glove solid silicone implant (size medium), and platysma plication (tightening of the neck muscles), all as a single outpatient operation in our accredited in-office surgical facility under a light general (TIVA) anesthetic. This anesthetic regimen allows rapid wake-up, even after a case that requires several hours of anesthesia, and also minimizes bloating, nausea, vomiting, and hangover associated with (standard) inhalation (gas) anesthesia.
