Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck) - Case 1

This 34 year-old woman has had 4 children by C-section and has a retracted scar, loose and sagging abdominal skin with striae (stretch marks) and skin irritation, as well as stretched abdominal muscles. Her breast volume also diminished after breast-feeding. She came to Minneapolis Plastic Surgery for breast augmentation and abdominoplasty (tummy tuck)—commonly called “mommy makeover.” This surgery was performed in our accredited office surgical facility as an outpatient operation. Her after photo shows how most tummy tuck scars ultimately fade (1 ½ years post-op).
