Breast Augmentation - Case 50

This 29 year old woman experienced moderate breast droop and mildly asymmetric loss of breast volume after breast feeding her one child for 3 months. She came to Minneapolis Plastic Surgery for breast enlargement with submuscular saline implants. Although the majority of our patients request cohesive silicone gel implants for their more natural “feel” and cohesive (cannot leak) construction (all 3 USA implant manufacturers), we maintain a full on-site inventory of both saline and silicone gel implants in virtually all sizes and profiles, so “choosing” exact implant size in advance and ordering one size larger and one size smaller is unnecessary–more than 3 “hopefully good” sizes are already here! Her outpatient surgery in our accredited office surgical facility avoids the sick patients and bacteria present in a hospital, though our ABPS-certified plastic surgeons maintain full privileges at several area hospitals.
