Breast Augmentation - Case 26
Case Description
Years ago, this 44 year-old woman breast fed her one child, and had moderate loss of breast volume that only got worse as she got older. She came to Minneapolis Plastic Surgery for breast augmentation (enlargement with implants) prior to 2006, and thus had saline implants. She did not need a breast lift as nipple/areola position was above her infra-mammary crease. She was also interested in forehead lift and upper and lower eyelid surgery, and had both breast and facial cosmetic surgery at the same operation in our nationally-accredited (AAAASF) office surgical facility as an outpatient procedure that took just under 3 1/2 hours. She was discharged to her home in 1 1/2 hours and reported no nausea and minimal discomfort well-controlled by her medications. She was thrilled with her breast and facial surgery, and returned for a facial peel exactly one year later to further refresh and rejuvenate her sun-damaged skin.
