Breast Lift (Mastopexy) - Case 7
Case Description
This 41 year old woman came to Minneapolis Plastic Surgery requesting liposuction of the tummy and hips, as well as more youthful, perky breasts with improved symmetry. She decided to proceed with liposuction first as an outpatient operation in our nationally-accredited (AAAASF) on-site surgical facility under light TIVA general anesthesia. She did very well, and two years later underwent full Wise-pattern (anchor) breast lift (mastopexy) in a slightly longer TIVA anesthesia outpatient operation. In addition to the skin removed from both breasts, she had a small amount of tissue removed from her right breast for improved symmetry. She again did splendidly. Her after photos show her breast appearance 5 years later when she returned for additional cosmetic surgery consultation. (She also had many of her dark spots (benign lentigos, skin tags, and angiomas) removed in the intervening years.)
