Case Description
This 22 year-old female was very concerned about the asymmetry in size, shape and position of her breasts. Her right breast had more droop and a larger areola than the opposite side, and she wanted larger breasts and the areola on the right side to match the left. She underwent bilateral sub-glandular augmentation and right peri-areolar (donut) mastopexy in Minneapolis Plastic Surgery’s on-site nationally-accredited (AAAASF) surgical facility as an outpatient operation under a light general (TIVA) anesthetic. The smaller implant on the right side was a moderate profile implant to have a width that better matched the slightly larger moderate plus profile implant on the left side. Post-op photos are at 3 months.
