Chin and Cheek Implants - Case 9

This 56 year old Registered Nurse came to Dr. Minneapolis Plastic Surgery for evaluation of her submental and anterior neck areas. She had excess fatty tissue under her retrusive chin, as well as some platysmal banding. She underwent a light general (TIVA) anesthetic outpatient operation in our office surgical facility where submental direct excision, anterior corset platysmaplasty, and placement of an extended anatomic solid silicone Flowers mandibular glove chin implant (medium) was placed in an hour and a half outpatient procedure. Note the improved balance in her perioral musculature and jawline compared to pre-op.
