Otoplasty (Ear Surgery) - Case 3

This young man is an 11-year-old sixth-grader who suffers significant teasing and embarrassment at the hands of his peers, and has just recently been told he needs glasses. He and his parents came to Minneapolis Plastic Surgery to correct his protruding ears, and his ear surgery was performed under local anesthesia plus IV sedation as an outpatient operation. He was able to wear his new spectacles immediately after bandage removal at 48 hours post-op, and was no longer worried about teasing by his classmates.
