Case Description
This 30 year old woman came to Minneapolis Plastic Surgery for rhinoplasty (nose surgery) and breast augmentation. She had both procedures in one outpatient operation in our nationally-accredited (AAAASF) on-site surgical facility under TIVA general anesthesia. This specialized anesthesia reduces post-operative nausea and vomiting often seen with hospital or hospital-run surgicenters that utilize inhalation (gas) anesthetics. She did extremely well, and left our recovery room in just over an hour, having been to the restroom, dressed, and sipping a soda. Her after photos show her appearance at 2 months post-op; though we have no new photos, she continued to do well at her most recent recheck 1 1/2 years after surgery.
