Case Description
This 41 year old woman lost breast volume after breast feeding 2 of her 3 children. She came to Minneapolis Plastic Surgery thinking she might need a breast lift plus implants, but after consultation with our ABPS-certified plastic surgeons, was pleased to hear that implants alone could give her a beautiful, natural look. She had outpatient breast enlargement with submuscular cohesive (gummy bear) silicone implants in a one-hour TIVA light general anesthetic operation in our on-site, nationally-accredited (AAAASF) surgical facility. Use of oral muscle relaxant and anti-inflammatory medications in the pre-op area, precise surgical technique and meticulous hemostasis, and extended-release (3 days) local anesthesia (Exparel) during surgery make this a “quick recovery” operation, not a trademarked name. She returned to daily activities the morning after surgery, and exercise in 3 weeks.
