Breast Augmentation - Case 13

This 48 year-old mother of 2 requested breast augmentation to restore breast size and perkiness. With Grade II (mild-moderate) ptosis (breast droop), she required only implant placement via a nearly invisible (when healed) 1 5/8″ crease incision. She had cohesive silicone gel implants placed in the submuscular position. At Minneapolis Plastic Surgery both of our ABPS-certified plastic surgeons use only hidden dissolving sutures on all patients, so there are no stitches to remove, and no cross-hatch marks at all. Note the (apparent) elevation of the nipple-areola complex as the breast volume is increased with her implants.
